How to donate

While we are generously funded by governement departments, it is never enough to meet the needs in our local community. We encourage people to Live Local, Give Local. If you would like to support your local community, please complete the pledge below and one of our staff will make contact with you. Alternatively, you can complete the pledge and transfer directly to our bank account with these details:

Volunteer with us

We recognise the important contribution of volunteers within the community. Mount Gravatt Community Centre Inc. values our volunteers who, in their various roles, initiate, deliver and enhance a broad range of services and programs offered by this organisation.

The role of a volunteer is to assist, cooperate, participate, teach and provide support to MGCCI's staff and participants. The Centre recognises that vital contributions made by volunteers can result in:

The development of new services
The enhancement of existing programs, services and activities
The provision of direct links between the Centre and the community.

We have many roles available for volunteers, and we are open to creating new opportunities to fit in with what you want, what the community wants, and your skills and knowledge. We encourage all prospective volunteers to register for the next volunteer information/induction session. During this session, you will:

Meet some of our friendly staff and others who are keen to give back to the community
Hear about our Centre and what we have to offer
Participate in skills-sharing and volunteer job-matching activities.

Become a Member

As a member, you will receive our regular newsletter and will be invited to our community events and celebrations. As a member you agree to support the vision, purpose and values of Mount Gravatt Community Centre Inc. Membership is currently free. You will need to ask two people who are already members to sign your application, or we can do this for you. If you would like to become a member, please complete this online expression of interest and we will make contact with you.
